About Us
I saw Rankin/Bass's The Hobbit (1977) in second grade, and that was it — I was hooked before I ever rolled a die. By the time I got to 7th grade, I'd picked up Dungeons & Dragons, and I haven't stopped since.
Along the way, I spent a lot of time at my local library digging into Greek and Norse mythology, which became the foundation for how I build worlds. I've played D&D across five editions — 1st, 2nd, 3rd/3.5, and 5th — and I know the current 5e (2024) rules inside and out, so whatever edition or era your table runs, I can write for it. I've also written plotlines and modules for Live Action Roleplaying games, so my experience isn't limited to the tabletop.
I've spent most of my time behind the DM screen rather than in front of it, and that shapes everything I write. My favorite campaign settings are Planescape, Eberron, Forgotten Realms, and Dragonlance, in that order — and my favorite author is H.P. Lovecraft, whose work I came to love during my time in the United States Army.
I'm also a history buff at heart, and I love building the kind of cultures, myths, legends, and taboos that give players something to actually figure out at the table — most of it rooted in real history and mythology I've spent years reading about.
That's the same care I bring to every adventure I write — whether it's a one-shot or a full campaign, you're getting something built by someone who's lived in these worlds for decades, not just skimmed the rulebook.
